Next up on The Cedar Public Access Channel, we revisit The Cedar Commissions. This year's Cedar Commissions was a four night, virtual showcase of newly created works by six emerging, Minnesotan artists and composers including AJ Isaacson-Zvidzwa, Beatriz Lima, Farrington Llewellyn, Tearra Oso, Hassan Shahid, and S U N A H. Over the course of March, audience members heard music inspired by the process of finding beauty in mental illness, stories of the Portuguese diaspora, evolution of the Hmong language, Black Muslim American fatherhood, addressing personal traumas, healing through Bomba, and so much more.

In this program, viewers get a glimpse into each artist's larger work by hearing one song from each artist and a portion of their respective interviews. The full programs are available to the public on The Cedar's YouTube channel.
